Different types

Monochromatic color scheme

She uses variations of a single color. Creates a calming effect, is very easy to perceive, especially if it is created on the basis of the green or blue colors, easy to apply, looks balanced and attractive. It lacks accents and contrasts.

Analogue Color Scheme

Uses colors that are adjacent. One color is used for primary, a the others complete the scheme.

Complementary color scheme

Uses two opposite colors from the chart. This scheme works simultaneously with warm and cold colors and creates harmonious contrasts.

Triangular color scheme

Uses three colors from the color chart that are equally spaced from one another. It offers visual contrasts, being well balanced and rich in color.

Tetradic color scheme Square color scheme

Uses four colors selected in two complementary pieces. It offers the greatest possibilities for color variations, but it is the most difficult scheme to achieve balance and harmony. You can find tetradic combination by placing a rectangle or square on the color wheel and choosing the colors of each angle or by choosing two opposite sets of complementary colors.

Separately complementary color scheme

A basic color and its light shade are chosen. Its opposite is found in the diagram of the colors but the two adjacent colors of the discovered opposite are taken. This combination provides the strongest and beautiful contrasts without creating the tension that the complementary scheme creates.
